From the Classroom

Student Showcase 2018

Students and teachers from 10 different schools throughout Petaluma spent their spring semester observing, investigating, conserving and interacting with our watershed. As these projects culminate at the end of the semester and we ask that each class prepare a presentation of some kind to illustrate and celebrate their educational experience. This year the presentations were shown at the Petaluma Community Center, where families, educators and community members could celebrate and be inspired by their work.

The student presentations were all incredibly thoughtful and well done; each one uniquely incorporating the Petaluma watershed into the classroom. The event was a wonderful celebration of the teachers' impressive curriculum and the students' profound learning.

Here are a few of the student presentations. Enjoy!
