From the Classroom

Water Street

This is the eleventh post in the series from Casa Grande High School students studying the historical transformation of Petaluma and its Watershed from 1850 with teachers Paula Biancalana and Jolene Thinnes.

Water Street is located in Downtown Petaluma. It is adjacent to the Petaluma Boulevard along the river. It is unbelievable how Water Street had such a strong impact on the growth of Petaluma many years, and remains to contribute to our society today. There are many attractions on this significant street, especially the wide variety of restaurants that are available, including Water Street Bistro. When I visited this location three weeks ago, May 8th, there were several people passing by and enjoying food from the Bistro.
